InvenCore Online Store
Sell online from the same stock you bill
Your own shop website, linked to InvenCore on your billing PC. Products, prices and stock flow out to the site automatically, and every online order comes back as a proper GST invoice. No double entry and no overselling.
How it works
InvenCore stays the master copy
The website mirrors your shop; it never competes with it.
-
Pair once
In InvenCore, Settings → Online Store, enter the pairing code from your store's admin. The whole catalogue goes up.
-
Sync on its own
Every sale, purchase, price or GST change in InvenCore reaches the website automatically. Photos and descriptions are added on the website.
-
Orders come in
Customers order for pickup or delivery. The order shows up in InvenCore's Online Orders, already paid or marked pay-at-store.
-
Invoice and dispatch
Create the GST invoice in one click, book the courier or mark it ready for pickup. The customer is emailed at every step.
For your customers
- Your own shop website
- Your name, logo, photos and wording on your own domain. Home page sections, slideshows, banners and every line of text are edited from the admin, with no developer needed.
- Browse and filter
- Categories straight from InvenCore, plus filters for price, size, colour and in-stock. Product pages have multiple photos per colour, zoom and a size chart.
- Accounts with email codes
- Sign-up and password reset by one-time email code. Customers see their orders, track them, keep saved addresses and download their GST invoice.
- Business buyers
- An optional GSTIN (check digit verified) and business name, so B2B buyers get an invoice they can claim input tax credit on.
- Store pickup
- Order online and collect at the shop, paying there. Customers get "Ready for pickup" and "Collected" updates by email.
- Home delivery
- Delivery charge quoted at checkout from the pincode. Pay online by UPI, card or netbanking, or cash on delivery.
- Ratings and reviews
- Star ratings and reviews from signed-in customers. You approve each one before it shows and can reply publicly.
- Polished emails
- Order confirmations and status updates as branded emails with photos of the items bought.
For your shop
- Stock is never double-sold
- Stock, prices, GST rates and categories come from InvenCore. A sale at the counter lowers what the website can sell within seconds.
- Online selling limits
- Decide how many units of each item may sell online, and how many per order, so counter stock is always kept back.
- Orders become invoices
- Online orders land in InvenCore's Online Orders screen. One click makes the GST Tax Invoice with the right place of supply, buyer and billing address, and sends the PDF to the customer's account.
- Courier booking
- Book the courier from InvenCore (Shiprocket), print the label and follow tracking. Delivery charges go on the invoice as their own service line.
- Payments reconciled
- Online payments through Razorpay are verified before an order is accepted. Refunds are issued from the store admin.
- Scan & shop
- Shoppers scan an item's InvenCore barcode label with their phone to add it to their bag.
- In-store kiosk
- Put a touch screen on the shop floor for price checks, sending a bag to the shopper's phone by QR code, or ordering there and paying at the counter.
- Simple admin
- A Tally-style admin for orders, customers, reviews, photos and site settings. It opens straight from InvenCore with one click, so there's no separate password to remember.
GST on online sales
Online invoices that follow the rules
- Every online sale is invoiced in InvenCore, so it is in your GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and books like any counter sale
- Place of supply from the delivery address (the GSTIN's state for B2B), or your shop's state for pickup orders
- Buyer billing address captured where CGST Rule 46 requires it
- Delivery charged as a separate service line with its own SAC and rate
- B2B orders billed to the business name with the buyer's GSTIN
What do I need to run the online store?
InvenCore on your Main PC, a domain name and web hosting for the store. For home delivery and online payments, you also need your own Shiprocket and Razorpay accounts. Store pickup with pay-at-store works without either.
Does my billing PC need to stay online?
Only to sync. The website keeps taking orders when the PC is off, and InvenCore catches up when it's back. Stock already reserved by online orders can't be sold twice.
Can I keep some stock for the counter only?
Yes. Set an online limit per item and a per-order cap. The website never sells more than both your InvenCore stock and that limit allow.
Who owns the customer data?
You. The store runs on your hosting with your own database, and customers can delete their accounts themselves.
Take your shop online
The online store is set up for you on your own domain, with your branding, linked to your InvenCore.
